2009 is the year!

We finally rang in 2009! It wasn't too much different for us as far as what we did this year...didn't make it to midnight again! Now we are wondering if we will ever be able to stay up. Sure we could put the baby to bed for 2010 but we both are exhausted by the end of the day now. I hope we both get some energy this year that we once had.

We of course are looking forward to what this year will bring us! Hopefully a healthy baby boy in May (which doesn't seem too far away now! - YIKES). We both hope to be the best first time mom and dad that we can be. It will be all so new and exciting with I am sure it's share of exhausting and frustrating moments, but we are ready to have our own little family. We also hope that this family of ours can be together in Mt. Vernon. I know it will be hard to be away from my family, especially at a time I may need them the most, but it's been a getting harder with Steve driving back and forth and I know he wants to be with us once this little boy arrives. So although it will be sad to leave, we want to have our family all together. With all that is going to come our way, we are ready and thrilled to see what happens. God has a plan for us and we trust him with every step of the way.
